Perspectives dies are so named because the die cut gives you either a positive or a negative that can be used, so it just depends on your perspective!

There is no fallaway pieces from the main die so the word "Happy" comes out of the die without leaving anything that needs to be cleaned out of the die.  There is no waste. 

With the Perspective dies, there are other word plaques included which can be used to cut out of your card or as in the case of the smaller ones, can be used to cut the word out of the letters from the main die.
